Asia-pacific will be home to the largest number of ultra-high net worth individuals by 2032, according to a new report by Wealth-X.
Currently, wealth is concentrated in western economies – the US is home to 62,960 people with more than $30 million (€22.1 million), while 54,325 UHNW individuals live in Europe, compared to Asia-Pacific’s 42,525 super-rich.
However, Asia-Pacific’s UHNW population will surpass Europe’s by 2024 and the US’s by 2032, the study said.
