The world's richest man and chairman of luxury goods giant LVMH, Bernard Arnault, has officially appointed his daughter Delphine as the chief executive officer (CEO) of French luxury fashion house Dior.

Arnault’s eldest child takes the reins in a further management shakeup, having recently assigned his eldest son, Antoine, to run the family-owned holding company Christian Dior SE.

Sister of Subway founder retires after 45 years

Suzanne Greco, the sister of Subway founder Fred DeLuca, has retired as chief executive after more than 45 years with the business.

Greco started with the company as a “sandwich artist” in 1973, and worked her way up the ranks, becoming chief executive in 2015 when her older brother died of cancer.

Subway founder Fred DeLuca dies at 67

Fred DeLuca, the billionaire founder and president of American sandwich franchise Subway, died this week after a two-year battle with leukaemia. He was 67.

The second-generation Italian immigrant started small with his first sandwich shop in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1965. He called it Pete’s Super Submarines.
