The Dennis M Jones Family Foundation and the Institute for Private Investors are delighted to announce the third year of the Jones Prize in Philanthropy.

This year the Jones Prize is a $30,000 grant and two runner-up grants of $10,000. The grants will be gifted to charities that have been aided by the efforts of an individual who has demonstrated exceptional work in philanthropy. The awards will be given at the institute’s Fall Forum in New York City on 24 September.

A new award named in honour of an Institute for Private Investors member aims to be for young philanthropists what the Nobel Prize was for Mother Theresa.

The Dennis M Jones Family Foundation and the institute have launched the inaugural Jones Prize in Philanthropy. The prize of a $25,000 grant will be given to a charity that has been aided by the efforts of an individual, under the age of 40, who has demonstrated exceptional work in philanthropy.

A beer company has been named Best UK Family Business for the Greater London region.

A beer company has been named Best UK Family Business for the Greater London region. With an estate of more than 360 pubs across London and the South of England, Fuller Smith & Turner is the brewer of a range of award-winning beers, including London Pride and Vintage Ale. The company will join motor group JCT600 in the national finals which are to be held in June.
