A €1.8 billion lawsuit filed by seven hedge funds against family business third-gens Wolfgang Porsche and Ferdinand Piëch for alleged market manipulation is without merit, according to Porsche – the family-controlled German car company.

The group, including US hedge fund Elliot Associates, has initiated a civil case against the third-gens, grandsons of company founder Ferdinand Porsche, at Frankfurt’s regional court.

At 180 metres, Azzam features six bridges, requires a staff of 50 to run and can reach speeds of 31 knots – according to Yachts France, which compiled the table of the world’s biggest boats.

For one thing, Wolfsburg is in Germany and has a population of just over 100,000, whereas Turin is in Italy with nearly one million inhabitants. It's probably also fair to say that the temperament of each other's citizens might have little in common.  
 
But there is one thing that unites both of these towns – car making.
