Shonali is a family business consultant at Peter Leach LLP and has her background in corporate finance, young venture philanthropy and SME start-up. She has lived and worked in a huge variety of countries and is fluent in 5 languages. Her experiences in different cultures gives her an added sensitivity in her approach to multigenerational issues, and in focusing on the effective environmental and social philanthropic results demanded by her client families. Shonali graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Psychology before completing her studies at LSE with a Masters in International Employment and Human Resource Management.
Ben consults from an educational perspective, advising on philanthropic trusts and involving the younger generation in establishing endowments and investing in ethical and healthcare orientated funds. Having practiced as a medical doctor for ten years, he understands the importance of academic rigor to support the complexities of advising families and their businesses. His involvement in his own family business gives him an additional and personal perspective. Ben graduated from Cambridge University before completing his studies at UCL and Harvard. He was awarded honours for his MBA and now lectures on several MBA programmes, also previously holding an honorary lecturing position at Kings College, London.
